SWAPARIO
LIVE CATALOG POLICY

Supported assets are more than a ticker list

Swapario reads the provider catalog as network-specific assets. The live selectors show current availability; indexed pages cover only routes with enough unique guidance to deserve a permanent search page.

Identity

Ticker plus network

USDT on TRON is not USDT on Ethereum.

Capability

Send and receive separately

A provider can support only one direction temporarily.

Indexing

Curated permanent pages

Live availability does not justify a thin SEO page.

01

A network-specific asset has its own route identity

The catalog combines a ticker with a network code. Native ETH on Ethereum, ETH on Base and ETH on Arbitrum can share a familiar name while requiring different wallet balances and deposit monitoring. The selector keeps those variants separate.

  • Ticker identifies the economic asset label.
  • Network identifies the blockchain that carries it.
  • Contract or representation can distinguish native and bridged tokens.

02

Availability can differ by direction and rate type

A provider can temporarily allow an asset as a deposit but not a payout, or offer floating rates without fixed protection. Limits and route conditions can change with maintenance and liquidity. The live quote therefore takes precedence over a static directory.

  • Sending and receiving capability are checked independently.
  • Fixed-rate capability belongs to the current route.
  • Maintenance can remove a route without removing the asset forever.

03

Some assets require more than an address

XRP and other account-based networks can use destination tags or memos for shared custodial addresses. The catalog and order flow identify when an extra field is required or supported. A valid address with a missing identifier can still fail internal crediting.

  • Copy the address and extra identifier from the same deposit screen.
  • Do not invent a tag for a self-custody wallet.
  • Treat a missing identifier as a support issue, not a reason to resend.

04

The live catalog is broad; the SEO library is selective

A usable exchange can offer many more combinations than a search library should index. Swapario publishes permanent pair, asset and network pages only when they have verified identifiers, real internal links and route-specific safety content. Other live assets remain usable through the widget without generating low-value pages.

  • No page for every amount or wording variation.
  • No network page copied from a ticker template.
  • Unavailable or unverified routes stay outside the sitemap.

WORKING CHECKLIST

Use the live selector as the operational source of truth

  • Asset name and ticker match the intended balance.
  • Network name matches both wallets.
  • Send and receive directions are currently available.
  • Any memo, tag, limit or rate condition is reviewed.

FAQ

Questions about this reference

Why is an asset in the selector but not in the SEO directory?

Operational availability alone does not create enough unique educational value for a permanent indexed page.

Why do several entries have the same symbol?

They represent different networks or token forms and must remain distinguishable at the wallet-routing step.

Can a supported asset become temporarily unavailable?

Yes. Provider maintenance, liquidity or network conditions can affect one direction or rate type.

Are static prices shown as live rates?

No. A current executable estimate is requested for the selected amount and route.
