Network identity
Swapario treats each USDT network as a separate asset identity. Changing from TRC-20 to ERC-20 is a network conversion, not a simple address replacement.
USDT uses the same ticker across many blockchains. This hub keeps network selection, fee assets and address rules visible before a transfer.

Network identity
Swapario treats each USDT network as a separate asset identity. Changing from TRC-20 to ERC-20 is a network conversion, not a simple address replacement.
Address rules
ERC-20 and BEP-20 use 0x addresses, TRC-20 commonly uses a TRON address beginning with T and Solana uses a base58 address. The ticker alone is never enough.
Fee mechanism
A self-custody wallet normally needs the native asset of the sending chain: ETH for ERC-20, TRX for TRC-20, BNB for BEP-20 or SOL for Solana.
Main safety check
Never paste an address from one network into another USDT route just because both assets display the USDT ticker.
NETWORKS TO DISTINGUISH
The following distinctions are educational. Use the current widget selectors to confirm which variants are available for an actual exchange.
Ethereum 0x address; ETH normally pays the sending fee.
TRON address commonly beginning with T; TRX supports fees.
BNB Smart Chain 0x address; BNB normally pays gas.
Solana address and token account; SOL normally pays fees.

USDT FAQ
Choose the network supported by both the sending wallet and receiving wallet. Compare the exact labels, not just USDT or the address appearance.
