Address rules
ERC-20 and BEP-20 use 0x addresses, TRC-20 commonly uses a TRON address beginning with T and Solana uses a base58 address. The ticker alone is never enough.
Fee mechanism
A self-custody wallet normally needs the native asset of the sending chain: ETH for ERC-20, TRX for TRC-20, BNB for BEP-20 or SOL for Solana.
Main safety check
Never paste an address from one network into another USDT route just because both assets display the USDT ticker.

Which USDT network should I choose?+
Choose the network supported by both the sending wallet and receiving wallet. Compare the exact labels, not just USDT or the address appearance.
Can I send TRC-20 USDT to an ERC-20 address?+
No. Use a supported TRC-20 to ERC-20 exchange route and enter an Ethereum destination address for the payout.
Why do I need another asset to send USDT?+
USDT is a token. Self-custody wallets generally pay the blockchain fee with the network native asset, such as ETH, TRX, BNB or SOL.
